This is my favorite restaurant. Theres no place like it. I hope and pray all the time for more DFW locations because its so far from me. But worth the drive for sure. I took home some of their “guisada” to make at home and immediately regretted not having bought more. The food here makes me happy to be a Mexican vegetarian. Their salsa is so good I could just drink it. Even if your a carnivore, you have to try this place!

This is a true vegan restaurant. With my mammal allergy it was wonderful to be able to order anything on the menu including the desserts without asking any questions. The lady who was at the counter was extremely helpful with our order. She suggested that we order the four taco dinner which comes with rice and beans or fries. There were twelve types of protein options. They were all similar in texture but I believe they are marinaded differently. These street tacos were served on two soft corn tortillas with a container of onions, cilantro and lime wedges. We also ordered the optional grilled onions and jalapeno. In addition we shared an order of nachos. They required a fork because of the amount of toppings. We brought home a couple of the bakery items for dessert. Man are we full. May nap before dessert. I almost forgot. They have a little gift shop as well.

I love El Palote! Thank you for providing amazing vegan Mexican food for years now. I get to enjoy my cultures food always despite not eating meat and that’s a beautiful thing! I will never stop supporting you guys. It disappoints me to see so much negative energy for a business that’s supported the vegan community for years. You guys are the best!

Always great, portion sizes are large, friendly staff, exceptionally clean, very comfortable atmosphere. Long time customer, can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. I always come home with several different pounds of prepared, frozen proteins to cook at home between visits, and of course at least a few of the sweet breads from the case out front.

This is a vegan restaurant that we took my daughter to because she eats vegan, I am not. I got the FLAURRITO (Loaded burrito, filled with 3 bistec flautas, rice, beans, sliced avocados, diced tomatoes, queso, and sliced pickled jalapenos). It was so good! My daughter and husband both got enchiladas and they really liked them. If this restaurant was next to a traditional Mexican restaurant, which I love, I would go to El Palote Panaderia!

My daughter and I don't just get one meal, we get enough to last almost a week. So if you haven't tried threre food. You better. Vegan or not. Love you guys dearly. Family for life!

The food was really good and filling. So glad to find a total vegan restaurant, with traditional Mexican food. I will go back for sure. I had the gordita with brisket and bistec. The brisket needed a little more flavor but the green sauce gave a lot of flavor overall.

This place is DELICIOUS. We had the taco plates and agua frescas, all fire. The staff was kind and the place is very cute. They have to go meats, salsas, tamales, and more. I will definitely be back.

We only went there to try their bread, we got a big piece of carrot cake$15 but oh it was delicious, not too sweet it was perfect for my taste. We also try mango carlotta and it was just as yummy. Ease try their natural aguas frescas, we tried all 3 of them and to me delish but i settled for jamaica. To be honest i didn't know it was a vegan spot.

This was a hidden gem! 🤩 Great food and flavors! My kids who are usually a tad picky loved every bite of their flavorful enchiladas. The food tasted fresh and packed full of spices. I love their little nook of knick knacks. Their desserts were great in selection and tasted just like the pan dulce you get in Mexico 🇲🇽
